An Early Christmas Gift

So Yorick and I had just gotten home from the store. I gathered my mail from my mailbox and headed inside to shuffle through it. Bill, bill, Christmas card and a small package from the post office. The post office? I opened up the small package and inside was a letter with a couple of stamps. The letter read:

Dear Hamlet,
I write to you this Christmas season, to apologize for my behavior during your visit the other day, to the post office. This is very uncharacteristic for me and there is not excuse acceptable for my behavior. I hope that in the future, you will continue to visit us at the post office as you really enjoy your company, as well as your cat Yorick's company as well. As a sign of good will, I have sent with this letter, a set of 4 stamps. We at the post office, know about your stamp collection, and after your visit the other day, this is the least I could do to mend things between us. I hope that you will except this small gift and have a very merry Christmas.
Your friend at the post office.

This was quite nice of that teller to send me a letter. She didn't have to do that, but it certainly was a very nice thing to come home to.

I'm glad you found a teller that was nice. Sometimes that is hard to do.
