Enjoying an End of the Summer, Day

Well, I need to apologize. I really hadn't been able to find much time to write over the past few days. Sometimes life just gets in the way of having a little fun. Today though, we were able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. And of course, all summer it has been wet and rainy. The last unofficial weekend to the summer, and you couldn't find a rain cloud. Anyway, so Yorick and I went to the river for a walk. The river has gone down since we last walked it, lack of rain and all. Didn't think I would ever say lack of rain this summer, but yes, lack of rain. we checked up on a box down there called White Sands. This is a box that has been there since 2005. While checking out his box, we came across a trail we hadn't seen the prior times down by the river. It was a small trail but the views of the river were really awesome. We found this really cool tree. Yorick climbed it and I had to stop and think for a minute. What were the chances I could climb it and would I get stuck like I did last time! I started to climb the trunk and found it fairly easy, but decided not to go all the way to the top for fear of making a fool of myself at another location in New Hampshire. But anyway, I decided that life shouldn't be full of embarrassments, so instead of trying everything Yorick does, I will stick to the things I know I can do.

Well, I probably won't write for a few days, but I am planning something huge for Sunday. Stay tuned.
